Alarm & Event System¶
Purpose¶
The Alarm & Event System collects, classifies, and exposes alarms and events to operators and engineering tools.
Responsibilities¶
- Generate alarms from faults, warnings, and abnormal states.
- Track alarm classes, acknowledgement behavior, and reset conditions.
- Provide event logging hooks.
- Expose alarm status to HMI and SCADA.
